Cannot get anything to play

Sorry for the very basic help that i need, it's taken me a while to get my mac mini updated and get Emby running, happy to report as of yesterday i now have the Emby Server on my mac mini.

 

I have been using Plex for years a very long time to be honest but the lack of updates has got to me a little, so here comes Emby for a little test i added some 4k context 10bit no problems running on plex, Emby scanned the folder and i can see the titles on my Samsung smart TV running Emby.

 

Tried a few titles and cannot get anything working the artwork is fine i hit play and just spinning, i am aware this will probably be something to do with the set up but would greatly appreciate some help if possible.

4k 10bit requires transcoding, so I'm guessing your mini is underpowered.  Post your transcode logs here.

Thank you, would this be the case as the same set us is running Plex and playing these movies with no problems ?

It kind of depends on what year TV we're talking about.  The LG app Direct Plays HDR with no problem.  New Samsung 4K TVs are supposed to support 10bit also according to the manual.
