Mr Pink47 0 Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 Hi Everyone, Newish emby user here and am unsure on what is exactly going on with the server. After the latest Asustor update to my 3204t things seem to have been not right ever since. The crashes were random and first than it was as soon as I accessed anything. So than I started to think it was some of the latest movies I added, so I removed all the latest and everything worked! So I started adding them back one by one and than a crash start, figured it was the nfo files so I removed them and let Emby create new ones. This seemed to work but not everytime a new movie is added it is crashing again. I have attached a log report of the latest episode from late last night. It does show errors, I am just not sure what they mean. Emby noob. Really love the service! embyLog.rtf
Luke 42077 Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 Hi, what kind of movies is this happening with? Thanks.
Mr Pink47 0 Posted January 5, 2018 Author Posted January 5, 2018 Hi Luke. Thanks for getting back to me. I am not terribly picky on my media types but most of my movies are in mkv, if there is more information you'd like me to provide I will. I am currently streaming a movie over wan to my office (when the boss is away ....) and everything is fine as of now.
Luke 42077 Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 hi @mr pink47, what exactly do you mean by crashing? thanks.
Mr Pink47 0 Posted January 9, 2018 Author Posted January 9, 2018 hi @@Luke. The server will be responsive and I can browse everything, than all of a sudden the web url becomes unresponsive and I must go in to my asustor apps, disable the app for about five seconds than turn it back on. This does not actually fix it though, I have to go in and remove the nfo and the rest of the file information from couchpotato (backdrops, and other images) for the server to stay up. Once I do this and let emby download everything the server is fine, I currently do not have couchpotato move anything but the actual video file at this time and the server seems to be fine.
Luke 42077 Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 Hi, as an alternative, you could try turning it back on and removing your installed plugins and seeing if that has any impact. thanks.
