Maugrim 1 Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 Since I have big troubles playing high bitrate movies without stutter and such via the Emby Android TV app on my TV I decided to plav via the Movies app that came with the TV. Now many of the problematic movies plays just fine but there still are some that doesn't play I created my own profile from the default DLNA profile and adjusted Max streaming quality: to 120000000 but still the logs states ContainerBitrateExceedsLimit. Another problem is that all thumbnails shows the artwork from the first movie in my collection but I'll will try tweeking my profile server-63650623055.txt ffmpeg-transcode-21eaab8d-c494-4a20-aaf0-91caf0248b68.txt
Luke 42077 Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 Hi, we don't currently support editing the default profile, and yes, the profile editing features need to be completed and improved. But for right now I will just raise the limit in the default profile, so let's see if that helps. thanks.
Maugrim 1 Posted January 4, 2018 Author Posted January 4, 2018 Are you saying that "Max streaming quality" on the DLNA profile is unrelated? In what version will this work?
Luke 42077 Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 I'm saying we do not currently supporting editing that value on the default profile, so you would need to create a whole new profile for your tv. This change will be in the next release, thanks.
Maugrim 1 Posted January 4, 2018 Author Posted January 4, 2018 Now I'm a bit pusseled. I am already using a profile that I have created by saving the default profile under a new name. It's on that copy I've specified Max streaming quality: 120000000
Luke 42077 Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 did you add identification criteria to ensure that profile detects the tv?
Maugrim 1 Posted January 4, 2018 Author Posted January 4, 2018 Yes, I copied the friendly name from an earlier logfile and used that as friendly name in the profile I created
Luke 42077 Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 are you playing using the play to feature, or are you browsing content directly from the tv?
Maugrim 1 Posted January 5, 2018 Author Posted January 5, 2018 Those logs are from browsing via the TV. If I try Play to from my Emby Android app nothing happens My new logs are from first using Play to from the Emby app and shortly after that, browsing from the Movies app on the TV server-63650710500.txt ffmpeg-transcode-c1bc12d0-8adc-4e87-aba2-efa69caef808.txt
Luke 42077 Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 Ok, when browsing from the tv, you need to fill out the http request header identification section, and that can be a bit more challenging. What you've currently designed should apply for the "play to" feature though. You might consider deleting the custom profile and waiting for the next release which will bump up the global default.
