cslawren 1 Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Hello, I'm wondering if someone can confirm for me that the Emby app on Xbox One doesn't support HDR. I'm transcoding using NVENC with a card that supports HEVC HWA, but can't get HDR content to display in HDR on the Xbox. For the record, this is a Xbox One S. Content streams at 120 Mbps per the Emby app settings.
Luke 42077 Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Hi, if it direct plays then you should get HDR, but not currently if any involvement from ffmpeg occurs. That's an area we still need to explore. Can we look at an example? thanks !

ashleysg90 1 Posted January 6, 2018 Posted January 6, 2018 (edited) Hopefully this is what you need, I restarted Emby so got a fresh log and played one test file Have sent log file by PM due to containing IP's From my quick look seems to be related to this : "Reason=Unknown Profile.Width Condition: LessThanEqual.
