hjason7812 34 Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 hello, since the new update every media added has crappy low sound. all previous media still has the normal great sound. the sound is so low i have to crank my surround sound up full blast to even hear it. please fix this asap thanks

hjason7812 34 Posted December 31, 2017 Author Posted December 31, 2017 hello, I've done troubleshooting, i updated codecs that had updates, and it still does the low sound. I've come to the conclusion that with the new update it messed something up on the ps4 version. pc version is good with sound haven't checked fire tv. but the problem is on the ps4 version. the log wouldn't upload for me i tried twice.

The ps4 app as you so call it has problems since last update.. i checked every single fire tv we have and they all work perfectly but not the ps4... the ps4 has sound issues... hjason7812 34 Posted January 9, 2018 Author Posted January 9, 2018 well i tried to but it wouldn't upload. and i gave them more than enough information to rectify the problem. it's non of my settings nor my equipment it is indeed the new server update that caused this issue. and if they want to ignore something that is the fault of the update I'd like to get my lifetime membership fee back.simple as that..

How large of file are you trying upload? Are you click the :More Reply Options nest to post and attaching the log? A copy and paste many be to much info. ffmpeg needed an update on server side, so i went ahead and did the update. but it didn't fix the sound issue Why do you think ffmpeg needed updating?

You know Emby does not use ffmpeg install on your system correct.

Good day, What the size of you file you try to upload? We have limited upload to 90 mb per file. Also what the ext for the file you try to upload? My best

It uses it's own self-contained version. If you can please provide a copy of emby's ffmpeg log during a playback attempt we'll be happy to investigate. thanks !

Abobader 3464 Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 Good day, This how you do attachment: 1 - Then click on "Choose File" A pop windows to select the file you want to upload. 2 - Then click on "Attach This File": You can repeat steps 1 and 2 if you want to upload more than one file, after you done, click on "Add Reply" My best
