adding 3D content freezing server

I tried to add some 3d content to my library and after adding the path, the media scan freezes just past 60% and the whole server becomes inaccessible.. I have to turn off the emby app in asustor app central and start it again.. i have added other content with no issues but this was first time i tried adding 3d files.

For now, let's assume it's related to the smb error that we're seeing here:
