Error Starting Tuner

When clicking on a channel that is loaded with a M3U I get the error saying it cannot start the tuner. I can take this same stream and play it using VLC with no issues. 

 

Attached is the section from my server logs showing the error. I can provide the stream password if a mod would like to test with it.

I do not know the requirements of your IPTV provider so therefore I cannot answer that. Probably there is a difference in incoming http request headers, but again without knowing the requirements of your provider I am only guessing.

The error you've shown me is on the schedules direct setup screen, and that is related to guide data. So this will have nothing to do with actually playing the channel. 

 

As far as Vlc, explore the settings for the Emby app you're using because some apps support external players.
