mastrmind11 722 Posted December 26, 2017 Posted December 26, 2017 I'm seeing "tuner unavailable" messages every few minutes since updating to .60, and I have no recollection of having ever seen the notification in the past. With it comes a 2-5 second pause of the stream and the stream picks back up. I'm wondering if the notification is a new feature and I've been having the issue for a year (which seems odd because the pauses are happening pretty frequently as of late), or whether something changed which is now causing the tuner to disconnect briefly and thus trigger the notification? I don't have logs, I'm just more curious than anything.
smartaxel 15 Posted December 26, 2017 Posted December 26, 2017 Same-ish here as well.. Upgraded to.60 and having a hard time getitng to the channels. I either get the 'tuner not available" or the roku just just hangs trying to "tune" to it. This .60 "upgrade" seems to have issues
Luke 42078 Posted December 26, 2017 Posted December 26, 2017 Please see how to report a problem. thanks !
mastrmind11 722 Posted December 26, 2017 Author Posted December 26, 2017 @@Luke, there is at least 1 question in my post that doesn't require the "how to report a problem" response.
tdiguy 99 Posted December 26, 2017 Posted December 26, 2017 I posted more information on the other thread specifically the hdhr log which show it was throwing that error about tuners not being available despite emby logs not showing an issue.

mastrmind11 722 Posted December 27, 2017 Author Posted December 27, 2017 I'm not even sure what notification you're referring to. Where is that happening? In Emby, on Android TV, an Android alert style popup which says "tuner not available" is displayed accompanied by a 2-5 second pause of the live stream.
smartaxel 15 Posted December 27, 2017 Posted December 27, 2017 @@Luke Picture attached. In my case when I go to live TV, then click the guide, I will get this. Sometimes it's only a few seconds, other times it's a lot longer.
Luke 42078 Posted December 28, 2017 Posted December 28, 2017 Did you forget to attach the picture? thanks.

That is not the message this post is talking about. That message is exactly what it says. The app pre-loads your channels at start-up and this must be complete before you can see the guide. If you try to go to the guide before this process is complete, you will see that message. If you simply click it again a few seconds later, it should come up fine. Does that answer your question?
smartaxel 15 Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 @@ebr Ok.. So since my habits havent changed, why do I only get this with the .60 version, and never previously. It is slower to load to guide now with the upgrade? (didnt realize the OP was talking about a different error.. sorry) Hi. That is not the message this post is talking about.
