Fire TV App not loading

I am experiencing an issue where the app is hanging n connecting to the emby server. This server is working fine as I can still access and play video on my phone/tablet just not the fire TV.

 

This has been working just fine for several years so not sure why it has suddenly stopped working. I have tried clearing the application data with no success, and uninstalled and re-installed the app but I still get the same problem. Sorry I cannot send you a log as the app hangs at the point of connecting with the server.

 

Has anyone else been experiencing issues?

Hi,

 

basically these are the steps:

 

click the the emby app icon on the Fire TV

Emby Splash screen loads and says loading. Spinning loading widget spins less than one whole rotation gets stuck in a 'C' shape and app hangs.

 

Sorry that is as far as it gets. As previously stated this has been working well for some time so bit of a mystery why it suddenly stopped.

Thanks, I restarted the Emby server and this resolved the issue. Weird that it only affected Fire TV but just glad its working again.
