Library scan when NAS dies

My NAS boot patition hit 100% last afternoon w/o my knowledge and my NFS shares were unmounted when the scheduled system reboot occurred.  Emby thus removed all the media from my libraries.  I was under the impression this was fixed in a previous release some time ago.  If so, what is the logic to determine whether to remove media from a library?  Granted the shares were offline for the better part of 24 hours so at least 2 scheduled library scans took place, so I'm wondering if the mount check is time based or?  Thanks

Unfortunately I smoked the logs this morning before I realized what was going on.
