Infortronic 0 Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 Dear! After updating the Emby server to version 3.2.60.0, I lost access to the server, both by ip and by localhost, in fact the system started and dropped, I rebooted the server several times, tried to restore windows for 2 days before the update ( windows 10 64bits) and nothing. To find out if the problem was in my computer or in the program Emby, I decided to download Emby and reinstalled on the same machine, even HD, using the same network card, it worked everything normally. I wonder: 1st How to install a backup that I have before the above mentioned problems, so that I do not have to re-register clients, plugins ... etc. Is it possible or do I have to re-register the clients and reinstall the plugins one by one? How to re-enter the lifetime key? 3º Is there any tutorial teaching the correct way to proceed in this case? . Thank you very much in advance!!!
Dazik 46 Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 I noticed the same. But I associated it with the massive Windows 10 update (Fall Creators, I think it is). I had to manually remove all the startup options in Windows, disable start with system in Emby, reboot. Then re-enable the option in Emby to re-create the startup settings.
Luke 42085 Posted January 7, 2018 Posted January 7, 2018 @@Infortronic, was your backup created with the emby backup plugin? if so then you would install the plugin onto the new server installation and then use the plugin to restore from your old backup. You may need to re-enter your Emby Premiere key manually in Emby Server setup. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks !
