Sammy 790 Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 (edited) I shut off Windows 7 updates when the Win10 debacle hit a couple years ago. Killed emby server process, downloaded from the download link on the emby main web page and installed. No issues thus far. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk Edited December 24, 2017 by Sammy
AtomicCEO 1 Posted December 25, 2017 Posted December 25, 2017 This happened to me too. Automatic update to 3.2.60.0 caused the server to crash and fail to restart. My PC has also bluescreened twice in the last 2 days, which is not something that I've seen anytime in the last year. Sounds like it could be related. I'm trying the manual fixes now, I'm just chiming in to concur that this was a bad update.
Luke 42077 Posted December 26, 2017 Posted December 26, 2017 Apologies for the disruption. Please follow the instructions in our announcement and you should be good to go. Thanks !

Still working just fine.. Not sure why others are having such issues. My system hasn't had a Windows Update for quite some time now and killing the Emby Server Process in Task Manager then installing from the website worked great. I'm wondering if this is going to be the only update path going forward of it is just for this update only.
Luke 42077 Posted December 26, 2017 Posted December 26, 2017 It is just for this update when coming from 3.2.36 specifically. Thanks.
