3.2.60 Question

Before I do the upgrade to 3.2.60 I have a question.

 

I see: Remove live stream probe to improve start time - under changes and I am wondering if this will affect channel change speed?

 

I have a Sony Android TV and with 1.5.19g of the client app and 3.2.50 Server I get great channel change speed (direct play) without using VLC - 2-3 seconds usually. Normally I would not hesitate to update but for whatever reason - Emby, Sony or VLC update if I use VLC on that TV I have a very bad experience - plays in about 2-3 seconds but it's very "jerky" or almost slow motion for a time then plays almost normal then back to jerky. Seem if there is any interaction with the UI - like using the OSD triggers the jerky motion again - sometimes without any user interaction also.

 

Just a question. Not pointing any fingers.

Will this be re-included at some point?

 

What start time is being referred to in -->"Remove live stream probe to improve start time" - I haven't noted any delay in server start time on 3.2.50. Just curious.
