Changing channels and audio bitstreaming

I am trying out Emby Premiere and Live TV in Emby Theater and I've come across a couple of things I am not sure if they are missing features, bugs or configuration issues.

1. Cannot navigate guide using number keys

When the guide comes up it starts on channel 2. Of course, HD channels don't start until 702. In WMC I would just type the number in and it would skip to that channel in the guide. In Emby Theater I have to arrow down past 100s of channels to get there. I can't remember if I tried it but I don't think using numbers while watching live TV in Emby Theater will change the channel either but maybe it does?

2. No DD when watching TV.

When I watch TV in WMC I get DD sound. In Emby Theater it's always PCM stereo. It seems audio passthrough isn't working? I am not sure the architecture here but is it accessing the tuners through the client drivers or is it accessing it via a stream from the Emby Server? I know with streaming movies it's always PCM.

I am hoping someday Emby Theater will be a replacement for W7MC in my household.

Edit: not sure if this should go under Live TV or Emby Theater.

hi there @@StardogChampion. numeric keys are not implemented yet but is planned for the future.

For audio pass-through, have you configured audio settings in the app? You need to enable pass-through for the formats that your receiver supports. thanks !

Did you get Theater from the store or the emby site?

Ah, ok I see the settings now. Duh.

Yeah, numeric keys would be huge. Having to scroll down from 2 to 702 is killer.

Windows 7 x64 so from the site.

Really great stuff BTW. Nicely done and coming along great. Hopefully my $4.99/mo will help it along. :)

If you mark channels as favorite, you can have those selected to be at the top of the guide.

As you see above, you can also sort by recently watched.  So, if you usually watch the same batch of channels, they will end up at the top too.
