Parental controls on collections

I was going through and adding a blocked tag to movies yesterday and when adding a tag to a movie collection, the user could no longer see the collection but could see all the movies that were apart of the collection still. So, I had to then go in and tag each movie. I thought it would work like tv series and block all child items.

 

What behavior is supposed to happen when blocking collections?

They are separate, so you'd need to block the movies. Thanks.

Members of a collection are not only children of that collection like episodes of a series.  Therefore, they won't follow the same rules.

 

e.g. An item could be a part of more than one collection.

 

It might be easier to use the custom rating rather than tags to do what you want.
