Problems With Subtitles

I'm experiencing this: If I have an MP4 or MKV with integrated subtitles (not hard-coded) and I add srt of another language and ask for the second language I get the 2 languages at the same time. A few seconds of one and then the other. it works fine on browser. the problem is just on the smart tv app. can you help?
