Logos302 86 Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Right now with auto-organize runs and utorrent is still seeding it will fail and MBS throws an error. If MBS had a utorrent plug that used the Web interface to remove the torrent this error would not happen. This could also be expanded to allow for controlling of Utorrent via the webui.
Tikuf 663 Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Mb will never support or condone illegal downloads so while I will leave it to Luke or Eric you can bet this will be denied.
gcw07 347 Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Closest you will probably get is a copy feature instead of move. And I believe that was just implemented a few days ago. Should probably look into using that.

Should probably look into using that. I think I would need to be using the dev build for that. Mb will never support or condone illegal downloads so while I will leave it to Luke or Eric you can bet this will be denied. I'm not sure that illegal downloads is the only thing that this would be us full for. But then again I also don't see how the auto-organize function could be used for anything but downloads legal or otherwise. Its also what is stopping me from switching from MCM, which has this feature. Ultimately it is up to luke/eric on what is allowed or not. So I'll wait and see. .
Abobader 3464 Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Good day, Right now that support for whom record from media services which is legal matters, and that what MB3 project support at the moment. My best
ebr 16173 Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 The copy feature that was just implemented should cover this market.
Logos302 86 Posted March 10, 2014 Author Posted March 10, 2014 Would this be accepted as a plug-in, if someone were to make it?
ebr 16173 Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 Would this be accepted as a plug-in, if someone were to make it? It depends on exactly what it did. If all it was doing was copying and renaming files and/or setting some sort of options for some other program then sure. What I don't want is any sort of torrent or other type of downloading from illegal sources directly done or managed via MB. The next server will provide the option to just copy the file out of the source directory instead of moving it so that should make it compatible with your scenario.
Logos302 86 Posted March 10, 2014 Author Posted March 10, 2014 All it would do is interact with Utorrents webUI page and remove status finished torrents. It would then allow the auto-organize function to do it's job, in a move scenario. While the copy does allow it to work it still would require manual intervention to remove finished torrent.

If that's all it does, that would be fine. My only concern is the slippery slope that might ensue as uTorrent users would then want more and more functionality.
Logos302 86 Posted March 10, 2014 Author Posted March 10, 2014 (edited) fair, I don't think it should do anything more. Auto-Organize maybe, but that is another topic.. Edited March 10, 2014 by Logos302
AgileHumor 123 Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 This uTorrent setting may help to clear the read only attribute: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Ha4uQM7EcL4#t=95 You'll get an error in uTorrent that the file is not found...but that should fix your error.
