mskenny 8 Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Since installing 3.2.50.0 I seem to be able to play only one TV stream after which a new stream won't start. I have to restart the Emby service to play something else. Today I had to restart the computer in order to get Live TV to play. I've attached some of the logs from today and I can provide more if you want. Thanks. ffmpeg-transcode-b537573c-86cb-48d5-b66b-b5d9d4b1ab69.txt server-63649215768.txt server-63649202399.txt server-63649199920.txt
Luke 42086 Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Hi, can you discuss these examples. What did you encounter a problem and which log file covers that time frame? thanks !
mskenny 8 Posted December 18, 2017 Author Posted December 18, 2017 The last example is that I played channel 590 from 3 to 5:30 and then clicked the back icon to end it. I then tried to watch channel 694 and got only the spinning wheel. I restarted the service and then was able to watch. I think this error is at the bottom of server-63649202399.txt. Thanks.
Luke 42086 Posted December 19, 2017 Posted December 19, 2017 ok @@mskenny please try again with the next release of emby server. i see we're querying a hdhomerun api several times and one of them is timing out. for the next release we're going to drastically reduce the number of calls that we make so that it won't even be needed in the first place. thanks.
mskenny 8 Posted December 19, 2017 Author Posted December 19, 2017 Thanks! Will this be soon? It's a pain to have to login to the Emby machine to restart the service every time you want to watch a new channel.
mskenny 8 Posted December 26, 2017 Author Posted December 26, 2017 I can report that since installing 3.2.6 the server has been stable and has required no restarts. Thanks!
