I seem to have no impact on any media library or the sub-folders within any library: I click the "remove" button on a whole library with three folders in it; it asks me to confirm that I am deleting a media location; i confirm, and nothing happens!

I click "manage folders" and press the - button on the right side of any given sub-folder, it asks if I want to remove a media location; i confirm, but again nothing happens.  Sometimes I get an error message, saying there was an error  and I should try again later.

Clearly,  I am missing something basic here.  Five days since I installed Emby on my desktop  PC (Windows 7) and I am not happy with the way I structured my folders and would like to redo all of the media libraries; but I have no impact on any of the folders.  I have considered uninstalling and reinstalling it from my PC, but then I might want to delete some other folder in the future.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thank you for your quick reply.

I have attached two log files for both instances of the media library not deleting and also for getting an error message when trying to delete a folder.

Thanks,

Further update: to my complete surprise, I used an iPad Emby app on the same network, and what I described I could NOT do in the first post, I was able to do from the App on the iPad very easily.  I cannot make sense of that, but I am glad I can do this.  Hopefully someone will be able to explain to me why the PC interface still refuses to do this.

Interesting, thanks for the info. Can you try either clearing your web browsing data or try a different browser altogether.

Also does this happen with the online web app?

Thanks.

Online web page also would NOT allow me to delete any content - file, folder or library.

Changing web browser also did not make a difference.  There was no cache issue: the new browser, explorer, asked me to log in and once I did, there too I could not delete.

Essentially, I am unable to impact the file, folder or library config on my PC; but I can do them all via a mobile app.

Can you check and see if there are any errors in the browser debug console? thanks !

Where would I find that?  Would I need to have enabled "enable Debug Logging"? to see that?

Well for example in Chrome you can right click anywhere -> inspect element, and then that will pull up the chrome debugger. then in the debugger switch to the Console tab.
