problem play video-ts in kodi through emby for kodi

I use kodi to play my collections and use emby to manage my collections, with emby for kodi, but I can not play video_ts, in the emby if it works for me but in kodi no. unless you go directly to the file from kodi.

Is there any configuration that I'm not doing?

why not just convert your old dvd rips to something a tad more modern, like mkv?
