emby keeps giving up

watching a movie, 35:40 into it, and it wont play anymore. it says "too many errors, giving up" I have attached logs.

I would appreciate any help. thank you.

Look at the error in the ffmpeg log:

file:\\FREENAS1\15TB Files\Newer Movies\Max.Steel.2016.BluRay.1080p.DTS-HDMA5\Max.Steel.2016.BluRay.1080p.DTS-HDMA5.1.x264.mkv: No such file or directory

Are you sure that file still exists?

Yes, i just copied it to my laptop to make sure that it plays with vlc, and it does, but it is there on freenas drive.

ok, it might exist, but the error message coming from ffmpeg suggests that emby server does not have access to the folder. Internally there is more evidence in the server log to support that:

2017-12-12 21:18:58.662 Info LibraryMonitor: Skipping realtime monitor for \\FREENAS1\15TB Files\Newer Movies because the path does not exist

I would also suggest installing the latest version of emby server from the website, although it should not affect this problem. thanks.
