Emby Theatre UWP Home Page issues

It appears that none of the setting under Display Settings take affect.

 

1. Home Screen Content only show Movies.

2. Home Screen Sections options 1-7 only shows Movies.

3. Sound effects do not work.

4. Backdrops do not work.

5. Enable Theme songs do not work.

6. Enable theme videos do not work.

 

Other mentionables that I have brought to these forum before have not been addressed (see attachments). Everything is not lined up correctly and some object are chopped regardless if I am in portrait or landscape mode. When playing music the controls are way too small as is the album art. Most music players for mobile devices place a sizable art above controls that are easy to select without having to focus hard.

 

The iOS and Android version do not appear to have this issue. Album art is placed above the controls which are easy to select. Movies details are not bunched together and line up nicely and both of these platforms have a nice "Home" button to take you back to well... the Home page of Emby. Also there is no way to cast to a wireless/Bluetooth speaker either from the mobile or Windows Store version of Emby.

 

I see the build number increasing for the Emby Theatre UWP on the Windows Phone almost weekly but have no clue what if anything is being fixed as the developer is not updating the change logs.

All of those settings work just fine in my testing.

 

Keep in mind the interface is not really designed for mobile at this point. It doesn't get a whole lot of priority due to the death of Windows phone. But it will gradually improve.

Sorry, some of those settings are tv mode only. We'll update the UI to indicate that. Thanks.
