No sound when set to Dolby Digital

I have a Roku streaming stick (2016 version) which doesn't seem to be passing the 5.1 AC3 to my TV. It's just silent. If I set the Roku audio options to Auto, I get sound but the file gets transocded by the server. The TV seems to support 5.1 AC3 because if I take the exact same file and put it on a USB stick and then plug it into the TV, it plays just fine from within the TV's media player app.

Can you please reproduce the problem on the Roku following the instructions to send a log from the app?
