I understand that it has to be slower than when direct playing but starting a recording it takes about 2 to 3 seconds but starting live tv takes more than 14 seconds way to long.

denz 501 Posted March 11, 2018 Author Posted March 11, 2018 I just installed HDHomeRun app on my iPhone X and live tv is instant how come HDHomeRun can play mpeg2 instantly but emby takes about 10 seconds is that because they pay for mpeg2 codec can that be looked at I don’t mind paying extra on the pi you pay extra and it is worth it
