3.2.36.0: some notifications not sending mail

Just a quick question as I saw this thread and it reminded me of something I was experiencing...

I have noticed Play Start/Stop notifications working intermittently, no addons or anything... just the built-in notifications appearing on the console/dashboard.

My sister watched about 6 tv show episodes yesterday and only one of them showed a start/stop notification...hmmm...actually, as I type this... she is connected and in the dashboard I see her device thumbnail shows her 1/3 of the way through watching a show and there is no start notification listed for it. The dashboard thumbnail says she is "direct playing"... is that why?

Is Emby only giving notifications if it's "transcoding" something for a user versus something being "direct played?

No, it's for all playback. Best thing to do is see how to report a problem. thanks !
