Emby TV some things that need be address

Now that I have gotten good look at premiere with all of it wonderful features job well done but TV side of thing need a few thing

For now I have NextPVR and NextPVR Plugin install with WinTV-quadHD tuner (ATSC) and HD-PVR 60 (Dishnetwork)

 

Emby web interface
Programs:
Add, New Episodes Tonight

 

Guide Interface:
Grid layout scaling, seriously don't need so min columns and rows that make is way to small I like be more around 7 to 10 roews like in your app, 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours columns is fine depend on screen resolution size can you add some option to set row and columns.
Now scrolling thru the guide is little odd it should be jumping by 1/2 hour interval.
It need ability to scroll from one day in to next day with out stopping at every 24 hour you should change the scrolling patten.
The show/movie popup menu dosen't seem to be not don't download the art images
I like to Watch status icon in the guide for example let say I rec Stargate Atlantis: No Man's Land on Monday 5, 7pm I watch it and or deleted it after I watch it so in guide it come on the next day againe so simple watch icon display this.
Add the ability to per-mark a show or movie as watch from the guide or from a popup menu that way the scheduler dosen't record it.

 

Channels:
I like this

 

Recordings:

I prefer TV Show recording group under primary folder with each episode with in it there really no need for Latest recording

Other then that there nothing wrong here

 

Schedule:
Nothing wrong here

 

Series:
When add TV Series to the Scheduler it should be done by default in Channels should equal All channels and Air time should equal Anytime this all wrong so it can't recording off any channel like from Dishnetwork which also air some of the same show to and there no way change it.
Dosen't seem to be add the art images

 

Emby Theater, iPhone, iPad interface
Petty much the some of the same issues as above
Other then that everything look good

For series defaults, other community members feel differently. That's why the settings are there so you can change them.

Yes will it let me chose the option but soon I leave that page and go back in to that page is back to previously setting so doesn't sick to what I set to Luke.

Right OK, i think this is because next pvr doesn't support changing series options. you need to delete and create a new series, but i'm not sure if our next pvr plugin is doing that or not. So it's really an issue of the plugin and the way it talks to next pvr.

It's been quite a while, but IIRC, those were the defaults.

That didn't help any luke so that something that you all need to look in to so that before we click on record series we some kind option before hand

I check NextPVR it dose have option for rec all episode / all channel but it doesn't have the option to change it once it has been set man that real let down

The Next PVR plugin is a community addition. Hopefully a community member such as @@Sven will consider enhancing it. thanks !

Luke what I like see done in the Recordings is the way it display every now in the recoding it a real mess as you can in 1

I think it be more like 2 option same way as with the TV series option in fact that how plex has with it recording

And keep the new recording get 1st in front line

And you can ditch the Recording Groups list off the first page you where it display the Recordings and Movies from web brower side

That a dumber, so guest that another draw back with the plug-in BooHoo.

I just wondering have you guy look in to native recording of any HDMI IPTV Steaming device like for example ?. 

TBS2603 HD H.264/H.265 HDMI Video Encoder and there min clone of this type of HDMI Steaming Encoder

Like the above but in the forum of a PCIe it called TBS6301 HDMI HD Capture Card and it has BDA architecture compatible stuff you all want

The downside we only have few option when come to IR Blaster a USB-UIRT or CommandIR III and one other option STB via ethernet by IP control channels change with DirecTV.
