ebr 16174 Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 Exactly what do you mean by "not showing a subtitle"? Does that mean there is no option to select a subtitle on the OSD or that, when you select it, they don't show up?
densma 12 Posted December 5, 2017 Author Posted December 5, 2017 wont display on screen. subtitle is selected but no display. its works on mobile app. i have couples of hvec videos with same issue. ebr 16174 Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 can i submit the file for testing? Yes, but I think I know what it is. I have encountered a few BD rips that have something other than the standard PGS format for subs and they do not decode properly in the player.

ebr 16174 Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 how do i send the file? its all direct stream Dropbox or anything similar that doesn't require me to create an account. You can PM me the link. Thanks.
ebr 16174 Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 Okay, thanks for that. Yeah, this is one of those PGS subs that Exo simply cannot decode. I notice we also cannot determine the language on it. If you use the "Playback Correction..." feature in the OSD, the item should still direct play and the subs will be visible (although they are English and so is the audio...)
