unable to connect

can someone please help me. first off im not a computer person at all and very computer dumb lol. i cleared my kodi on accident and had to start over so i have a fesh start. I downloaded covenant with no issues an its working great. I then went and downloaded sports devil which is being a pain in my butt (it worked last night but not this mrning). I then went and tried to download bob unleashed and it says im unable to connect why would it say that? i just watched a movie on my firestick so i know im connected. ( i may be compter dumb but i used the internet to watch a movie lol). I then went and watched a show an it worked great so again I know im connected. I then uninstalled sports devil and tried to install and it says unable to connect. yes every letter is right lol I have checked, reenered and checked again lol. so i go to home and try to get plex back on my home screen and yes you guessed right lol unable to connect. i looked last night and saw a post where i may need a wizard ( dont know why or what it does but thought maybe it would hepl nope) but it also said unable to connect. i just saw a post were it may be a firewall blocking my router and i treid going that way but unfortunately my password does not work and i would have to rest it and really dont want to do that unless absolutely have to. PLease help figure out what I have wrong. side not yes i have went into device and dev. options an made sure ADB is on an unknown sources is on lol

im not sure what im using. I bought the stick and now cant put the stuff back up there that was on it.  all i can find is youtube videos and there not helping bc everything they say do ends in being unable to connect. i will put what ever i need to on here just as long as it works lol

mastermind11 i typed it in google lol just like i typed the problem i was having and i saw people on this site were having the same issues
