Cannot get Emby Theatre to Direct Play my file.

Not sure if I am doing something wrong.  I am trying to watch a live recording a bit timeshifted and I cannot get the file to direct play on Emby Theatre.  It is Direct Streaming fine on my Android TV, allowing me to fastfoward immediately after starting the stream, but with transcoding, I have to wait for the transcode to catch up.

Sorry Luke!  On my ShieldTV my when Direct Streaming I'm able to fastforward immediately.  It seems in Emby Theatre I have to wait until the stream 'catches up', which is troublesome when trying to skip ~1hr into a recording.  (recording example here is a football game I was watching on delay).  Is there a way to skip immediately 1 hour into the recording in Emby Theatre?  Or do I always need to way for the stream to 'catch up'?  (For example, it loads the video in 12 second increments, so after ~1 min of watching, I can usually fast forward ~10 mins.
