User suddenly cant connect?

I had a friend under my own account (to test) watching something. It worked so i got him his own account. Then it just stops connecting, under his new account, or my account (which worked earlier)

 

I spent the last two hours trying to work it out and well... im no further on. It just says its unable to connect on his end. I can connect with all accounts on my end and on mobile data...

 

Anyone got an idea?

Going to need a shitload more details than that.  protocol? proxy? if proxy, proxy logs?  emby connect? etc...

Yes, sorry. This was fixed, it seemed that when using safari and using a non private broswer it would block the connection, when using a private tab it works fine... Which i find weird but it now works for my friend so no complaints!

@@Luke Hi, sorry to bother you, but since my last message there has been some developments. Now only one account can gain access, that is the (Non Admin) account under my name + only on my phone app (android) Trying my account via the browser has no effect (Locally, on inter-network devices and on external out of network devices) I am lost as to why it is only working on my phone app, not even the ipad app.... The server revives no connections from status as far as i can see, i will try find logs etc any other info needed if so as well.

I'm not sure what you mean by your question but nobody seems to be able to gain any kind of access, it just tells them no servers available, unless using my phone. Ports are all open (check with port checker) and it was working before so I am complexed as to what has gone wrong. It's also been restarted multiple times today too to no avail.

How are they connecting, Directly or via Connect?

Via connect, I am the admin but me and everyone else have personall accounts to use via connect... I use mine via the android app though.

Can you ping the server externally?  Paste a traceroute here.

Make sure your server is accessible from wherever they are trying using the exact address reported on the dashboard as the remote address.

I'm using Windows command's and it cant ping the server at all, all i get is an error saying path cold not be found the instant i press enter

You have a network issue.  Please see the link I posted above.

Well, after going through the webpage i can successfully say it has been of no help, i have done this all already. I seem to have located the problem to now being connecting via the web browser portal in chrome ( well at least i think i have)

 

... it seems to work in app (locally) on my pc and on my android app (locally + externally) but wont work in any browsers bar the ipad's safari...

Then look for add-ons or other browser security options that may be blocking it.

I'll go have a look, but i know already that my pc is the only device that has any add-ons in browser at all. After talking to one of my friends that was using it in safari it seems to not connect either,
