Last night I was checking on some recordings that were scheduled to record back-to-back on the same channel and I noticed something peculiar.  My HDHomerun tuner was only using a single tuner - and the recordings were padded by a few minutes on either side.  After further digging I saw that the single stream was being copied into the separate show files automatically.

 

FREAKING AWESOME!!!!

 

I don't know when this was added - but honestly you guys have been cruising along with the DVR stuff for so long now that I have truly become complacent.  Emby really has become a 'set it and forget it' backend DVR.
