Band shuffle doesn't work

Whenever I hit the shuffle button in a Band view, it does the same thing as the instant mix button (creating a randomized playlist of songs from some bands).

Is this intended? If yes, is there any other way to create a shuffled playlist of only one Band?

 

It works fine with Albums.

Hi, I just tested this and it seems to be working fine. Can you please discuss an example? Thanks.

I go to the Search feature, and search, for example, Motorhead. Then I open the Artist, an click on the shuffle button. And then, a pretty random playlist appears, with contains practaically any other Artist too.

 

I added a screen recording. Sry for the size, but I have no other recording options at my work pc.

What if you browse to an artist and click play?

I tried it again, and it seems it doesn't matter how I navigate to the Artist. And the problem occurs with every artist, not only this one.

Have you completed a full library scan since adding your music library?

With the "Scan All Libraries" button in the Library section? Several times.

 

I have the server up and running for 9 months now I think, I just really recognized that today.

do you have artist.nfo files in your music directories?

No; The Directory Naming is as recommended in the wiki ( <Artist>/<Album> )

If you click on an artist in the web app, are you able to see songs for that artist?
