brucipher 0 Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 Hope someone can help. I just got a Vizio M55-E0 TV which has Chromecast built in. I can connect my Emby app to the TV, but as soon as I try to play live TV the screen is just black. It also appears that the video stops - every time I hit the play button it changes back from pause to play after a couple seconds. The video streams fine directly to my phone and in my other TV with a a Chromecast plugged into an HDMI port. Any ideas what is going on here and how I can fix this? If I can't get this working it looks like the TV will be getting returned :-( Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

brucipher 0 Posted November 28, 2017 Author Posted November 28, 2017 Hi there, can we please look at an example? please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. thanks ! Sure. I just got home from work and tried to do a couple casts to my TV from my Emby Android app. I wasn't positive which logs exactly would be helpful, so I pulled the 4 that appeared since just trying the cast. Please let me know if you need any other additional information from me. I appreciate you taking the time to look at this!! ffmpeg-transcode-log.txt ffmpeg-remux1-log.txt ffmpeg-remux2-log.txt server-log.txt
Luke 42077 Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 I'm not sure this will affect anything but can you try installing from the website on top of your existing version? thanks.
