ET only plays first audio track when transcoding

If you have a file with multiple audio tracks (ie. DTS-HD and DTS) Emby Theatre only plays the first audio track (not the default track) if the video requires transcoding (direct play works fine).

This bug doesn't seem to effect other Emby Clients that I have tested it's just effecting Emby Theatre.

Hi, have you tried using the track selection feature?

Yes makes no difference. Emby Theatre only ever plays the first audio track in a multi track mkv file when transcoding. Things work as expected using direct play.

In my case the second audio track is the default track so ET starts trying to play the second track but I get no audio. If I select the first track using the track selection feature audio works.

I can confirm this. The track, switches. The transcode, switches. Playback resumes....no sound after switching. I was looking through the mpv log, the audio isn't switching. I think it's the same thing as when I start playing video when i'm playing music. Without stopping the track playing, first, mpv keeps playing with the same filter chain. In that chase, the audio just gets played, differently, because it's not bitstreaming. But with the movie, it's bitstreaming. So the decoder/processor doesn't get switched, because mpv hasn't stopped playback and restarted with the new filter chain. At least that's what I'm thinking is what's happening.

And on a not too unrelated note. Theater is so glitchy, right now. I'm having to restart it, often, as parts of the UI disappear while I'm navigating, and I get unresponsiveness, sporadically.

Hey Luke, do you know if there are plans to fix this bug in a future release of ET? I can always remux my videos with a single audio stream but prefer to wait for a fix it it's too far off.

It's resolved for the next release of the app, thanks.
