DVBLink Plugin Not Showing Available Tuners

So I had NextPVR installed and I liked it but it was not reliable for browsing live TV with Emby. I would sometimes need to change channel just to reset the stream to clear up video issues.I want to try DVBLogic and the DVBLink TVSource application work better and may be working paying for.

I am able to use the DVBLink application to view the TV and I checked the server settings and they all appear to match the plugin settings in Emby, but I am not getting any tuners to show available in Emby. What am I missing? I tried searching but didnt find any help with my situation.

My setup is the Hauppague Quad as the tuner, Windows 10 Pro, and a relatively fresh build (less than a month).

Hi, the DVBLink plugin, like the others, are all community additions. I am guessing the developer of the plugin just hasn't added this feature yet. It's not really any kind of problem as the list is just for display only.

Thanks for the fast response. I never thought to see if the LiveTV worked even though it didn't show available tuners. I did just check and I cannot watch TV, so I am not sure what else to do to troubleshoot.

I wasn't sure if this was best posted on DVBLink's forum, but given their side appears to be working I figured this would be the best place to start. Please feel free to move this if there is a better place for it.

Don't bother using the DVBLink plugin with Emby... it just isn't working as fast as DVBLink player or the DVBLink Kodi PVR.

I spend some time testing DVBLink with Emby and the user experience with channel zapping is much to slow in Emby.

Emby is fine with local movie libraries, but with DVBLink and IPTV, Emby isn't ready yet, to give the same user experience for SAT/DVB-C/IPTV as in the DVBLink player, the DVBLink Kodi PVR and Kodi Simple Client PVR.

For IPTV just use the emby native m3u features. Going through a plugin will just add an extra layer and that will degrade startup performance.
