WarrenEdwards 2 Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 (edited) So Radarr has all of it sorted, named, in season folders. Emby pulling meta data is being WAY off and ive deleted the files manually MORE than once and it keeps renaming season folders and putting wrong metadata. What the heck gives and why only anime? I have the Anime plugin as well.imgur.com/a/bsrex Edited November 26, 2017 by WarrenEdwards
charleslam 1 Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 anime plugin is broken. anime goes off of episode lists from tvdb. which works great for some but not all anime. you can lock the anime which tvdb shows incorrectly and make your own xmls, but that is a giant pita. just follow the tvdb episode guides religiously and it should work.
Luke 42092 Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 While we're here I would just like to point out that the Anime plugin is a community addition, and contributions are welcome. The source code can be found here: https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Emby.Plugins.Anime Thanks !
WarrenEdwards 2 Posted November 26, 2017 Author Posted November 26, 2017 On the edit info page some of them have External IDs and some do not. If this could be made universal and I could just plugin some IDS that would also be of help. However my series didnt have this option and some of my others do? Why isnt the option to manually ID something universal?
Luke 42092 Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 If they don't have external id options then it means the directory structure doesn't match our supported conventions, which means the server didn't detect it as a series to begin with. You can learn more about that on our wiki: https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/TV%20naming Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.
Luke 42092 Posted March 22, 2018 Posted March 22, 2018 This should help users of the anime plugin to avoid having it mess with non-anime series in your library: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/57274-3317-metadata-settings-per-library Thanks.
