legallink 187 Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 I’m sure there was a post on this before but I can’t seem to find it. Anyways, I have a movie library that has movies from Not Rated (1950’s films) through some rated R movies. I set up a user for my kid, limiting it to PG. The small issue is that the library image on his home screen movie library is filled with content that the user doesn’t have access to. Thoughts on this? I think I remember a user posting something a while back about this in relation to adult movies, but my issue isn’t as severe and for him I think the resolution was move all those movies to a separate library. Case and point: we have Tom and Jerry on our server but when he watches it, he likes to act out they Tom and Jerry scenes (he’s 4). We don’t appreciate that so we removed access to Tom and Jerry by changing the rating. But when we turn emby on, Tom and Jerry is on the library image. Similarly, wonder woman is in the movie library. Obviously above his rating permissions but the image is on the library. It would seem fairly tedious to have to have separate libraries for each movie rating. Thoughts on how to solve for this?
ebr 16195 Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 Hi. The solution would be to provide your own image for the library. The dynamically created ones are not per-user so there is no way to limit them to any specific content.
