FreeBSD_Lover 14 Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 (edited) I went back 10 pages to Dec 2015 and didn't see anything on this, but if this is a known issue, then feel free to link in the forum discussion URL. I wasn't sure which category to put this in, but it feels like a DLNA issue, if that is possible. First my set up: FreeBSD 11.1-RELEASE (although I had same issue with 10.4-RELEASE, and I didn't upgrade because of this issue.) Emby Version 3.2.36.0 HD Homerun Extend Version 20170930 Firstly - I only get two HD channels via HD Homerun, that is all we have in the area. So lets call them channel 1 and 2. Here is the issue I am observing: Let's say at 7:00 user #1 uses a Samsung smart tv, and via Emby DLNA uses live tv and 'tunes' to channel 1. Works fine, sweet. Then at 7:05 user #2 goes to the Sony PS3 and via Emby DLNA uses live tv and 'tunes' to channel 2. However they do not get channel 2. Instead they get channel 1, and here is the kicker, the video starts at 7:00, not 7:05. Then at 7:15, user #3 does the same thing (tunes to channel 2 via Emby DLNA) on another samsung smart tv, and gets channel 1 and it starts at 7:00 instead of 7:15. If I flip around the scenario, and tune to live TV channel #2 first via DLNA at 5:30, then that is all that is now available via DLNA. Tune to channel #1 at 5:40, and instead get channel #1, and the video starts at the 5:30 instead of 5:40. Which means that video is getting queued up in a file somewhere it seems like. Anyway, assuming this is not the expected behavior, when you have time, let me know, and I will try to log in from time to time to assist with the issue. If you need me to do some debug for you just ask. I'm pretty sure using web browsers I do not have this issue, thus why I posted under DLNA. Although that just said, if I use DLNA to stream stored videos, I do not have the same issue. I can stream via DLNA a different video to each different device simultaneously. Thanks again, FreeBSD Lover Edited November 26, 2017 by FreeBSD_Lover
Luke 42077 Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 hi @@FreeBSD_Lover, it's resolved for the next release, thanks.
FreeBSD_Lover 14 Posted February 10, 2018 Author Posted February 10, 2018 Looks like its fixed indeed. I have to test this more, after I get my beefier server built, but until then thank you again.
