MisterAngelus 7 Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 I am currently playing with the portable version my question is the embyserver.exe located in the system folder has no icon. I have a feeling its supposed to... tried rebooting to reset the icon but nothing.... where would i get the icon file? Also does the portable version auto update when a new version comes out or will i need to start over from scratch each time?
Solution PenkethBoy 2068 Posted November 25, 2017 Solution Posted November 25, 2017 I assume we are talking windows? no the exe does not have an icon - once running there is an Emby icon in the system tray - it comes from the electron process and yes it works like any other server version and does update as you would expect - one exception if you have stable .36.0 you have to do a manual upgrade to stable .40.0 - the reason has not been made clear but the .40.0 works fine. 1
