Luke 42085 Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 Hi there, please install the latest version from the website on top of your existing installation and that should resolve this. thanks.
ehef1986 0 Posted November 23, 2017 Author Posted November 23, 2017 I did as you said and I'm still having issues. I can load the server on my pc and if I try to access my movies from anything it causes the server to lock up and close. I can access music just fine but movies are a no go.
Luke 42085 Posted November 23, 2017 Posted November 23, 2017 Can you please attach a new emby server log? thanks.
ehef1986 0 Posted November 23, 2017 Author Posted November 23, 2017 Log (1).txt yes here is the latest
Luke 42085 Posted November 23, 2017 Posted November 23, 2017 That still looks like an older version of the server. Try going to the emby website - downloads - windows. Then refresh the windows download page in your browser just in case. Then install from there. Thanks.
ehef1986 0 Posted November 23, 2017 Author Posted November 23, 2017 This is so weird it was working fine and then all the sudden it started to do this. I did a complete uninstall and reinstalled and now it crashes when it gets to reading 68% of my library. Log (2).txt
Luke 42085 Posted November 23, 2017 Posted November 23, 2017 How are you determining that it's crashing?
ehef1986 0 Posted November 23, 2017 Author Posted November 23, 2017 server no longer responds and i have to reload it.
Luke 42085 Posted November 23, 2017 Posted November 23, 2017 can you check your windows event viewer under the applications section to see if it might have any information? thanks.
ehef1986 0 Posted November 23, 2017 Author Posted November 23, 2017 yeah its showing up in the event viewer. emby.txt
Luke 42085 Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 @@ehef1986 are you still having an issue with this? I would suggest running windows update and ensuring everything is up to date. the information from the event viewer suggests the crash is happening in the microsoft runtime. thanks !
ehef1986 0 Posted November 27, 2017 Author Posted November 27, 2017 Yes still having this issue, I'm going to remove a folder I was working on and see if it helps. I was updating meta in it and soon after I started having this issue
