politby 88 Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 So when I first started to use MB I didn't care about parental ratings but now the kids are starting to use it and I would like to get the local ratings for Sweden loaded, when available. I used to have the country set to US so the entire library has been built using that setting. I have now: changed global country setting to Sweden (sv) created a localized ratings file (attached) and placed it in the C:\Users\<xxx>\AppData\Roaming\MediaBrowser-Server\localization folder unlocked the movie library so that I can refresh titles But the ratings keep getting set to the U.S. ones, and the Custom Ratings pop up listing also only shows the U.S. scale. What is weird is that if I go into the metadata editor, click on my movie collection, set the country to Sweden, and click Save, it says "Saved" but if I exit and go back and check, the "Counrty:" field is empty. The setting does not stick. What am I doing wrong? Server version is 3.0.5171.19958 ratings-sv.txt
ebr 16173 Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 What about setting it at the global level instead of just for that media folder?
politby 88 Posted March 6, 2014 Author Posted March 6, 2014 It is set at the global level. Maybe that's why it does not stick on the folder level?
Luke 42078 Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 The dropdown should be using whatever localization settings apply to that particular item. I'll take a look at this.
