Prevent recording of a show.

I am curious,

I am now manually moving mp4's after converting them so they are not deleted once i delete the .ts files of shows i record. I really like the functionality that emby can be told to not record an episode i already have recorded.

 

Lets say hypothetically i have all of season 1 of bunk'd recorded and converted and moved into another folder. Now once i delete the .ts files emby will think i don't have those episodes recorded right? or will emby know i have them recorded since they are in a separate library?

 

Assuming emby does not know they are there will creating a empty file named properly work to prevent emby from recording said episode and could i take a shortcut and rather than using the full episode name use something like bunk'd_S01E01.ts?

Emby know's if the episode is already in the library, it doesn't have to be in the recorded folder.
