BurntTech 6 Posted November 17, 2017 Posted November 17, 2017 Guys, I'm having issue when i do any bluray streaming to an xbox one. I don't think this anything to do with xbox app yet, the cpu goes to 50-60% which would seem ok. The part that is concerning is the disk that contains transcoding temp shoots to 80m IOps. Not even sure a disk can do that many iops. when it gets to that number the video freezes and once it while you come back for a fews seconds and then freeze again. Here where it gets interesting if I disable sound it appears to direct play so cpu is only 5% and the disk isn't doing any and plays perfectly. This issue doesn't happen with 5.1 dvds at 480p. i'm not sure if this is an audio or just video transcoding issue but transcoding is triggered by audio codec not supported. I have changed it appears most combinations in the transcoding admin page. i tried disabling throttling, cdr to 51, preset to ultrafast. i don't have any hardware acceleration. I can watch the same movies on the firestick and everything works great. The bummer is I wanted to use xbox one as its my primary device
