Pixel 2 XL - Playback issue

Hi there,

 

the all new Google Pixel 2 XL has playback issues while using the emby Android Mobile app.

 

Problem:

 

If I start a video, the player controls start to appear, then it switches to Android "immersive" mode (notification bar and navigation are fading out) to play the video in fullscreen.

After that it just loops fast between immersive and non-immersive mode (controls start to appear) and the video isn't starting.

 

I think the app can't properly handle the 18:9 aspect ratio.

P.S. On my nexus 9 (4:3 aspect ratio) it's the same problem.

hi @@L3Nerd, sorry to hear about this. Can we look at an example? Can you please attach the emby server and ffmpeg log (if applicable). You can learn how to do that here:
