Tuner devices available?

Can anyone tell me if there is something out there similar to a hdhr prime that has more tuners?

 

I would greatly prefer it be something that only uses 1 cablecard would love something with 6 tuners and it has to be a standalone device like the hdhr prime.

 

Most of what i have been able to find are devices that connect to a computer.

Not if you want to use the emby dvr

If you don't mind using a third party dvr solution ceton has a 6 tuner.

This device: http://cetoncorp.com/products/infinitv-6-ethernet/ looks pretty cool. has anyone used it with emby? I think i will be able to get by with 3 but more is always better especially when its a 1 time cost.

Just remember you need to use one of the plugins to use it.

Also remember with 6 Tuners in one basket if it shuts down or breaks you won't be able to record. Personally I would always stick to HD Home Runs. I've had one for over 6 years and never had a problem.

 

Unless my Google skills are failing me newegg and Amazon don't even care that model anymore. Sorry about the bad info. I was pulling that out of my head instead of researching to see if it still existed.

Whats funny is the manufacturer still lists them for sale and from amazon and newegg. 

Not sure i would want to mess around with trying to get it to work properly, using a hdhr is pretty easy. The only down side is having to use the hdhr app to view premium content like hbo. Well that and if i get another cable card it will cost me 10$ a month, but still not bad since its the equivalent of 3 dvr capable cable boxes.
