Are there any plans to support the display on the iPhone X?

Just got one and Emby naturally only fills part of the screen.

So what is the unused space, the top and bottom area, right?

I would imagine using safari fullscreen with the web app consumes the full screen, right?

Basically as I understand it if you don't specifically add support for the X to your app, apps get scaled down to the resolution of the iPhone 8. So the apps that don't yet support the X appear in a box in the center of the screen - the surrounding areas aren't part of the app.

In safari you are correct it works fine, occupying the full screen no problem.

Due to the app using a custom video player overlay - this effect carries over there too, only the surrounding areas are grey instead of black, so doesn't make for a very immersive experience.

Also noticed another issue  - if you rotate the screen from landscape to portrait and then back again, the controls drift halfway off the screen i.e. they became 1/2 cutoff.

So any plans to introduce support?

Emby for iOS 1.5.1 has been released to resolve iPhone x playback issues. Thanks.

Thanks Luke, so far my X, AT&T, I am seeing drastic changes. Did you fix the Apple Player or just start using the Android Video Player?

It's a whole new player.

Not on my side

For me, on the TV guide, on iPhone X app or web app, the time is 2 hours early. Don’t have this problem on iPad.

Check your time zone settings on the device. Thanks.

I am in France and the time zone of the iPhone is set on Paris, exactly like on the iPad

Are they both on the same iOS version?

Indeed

When I go into the server dashboard from safari, the times for the recent activity are also off, it is just not the TV guide

Hi Luke

I have set display and date and time in English USA just to make sure but the problem remains as you can see in the picture below. It is 11am and it shows the guide starting 9am.

Also there is a problem with the days in the TV guide : it shows tuesday twice for today and tomorrow, then Wednesday instead of Thursday and Thursday instead of Friday.

With the app and the webapp through safari

There is no problem when I check with the webapp through windows/chrome
