Aleksa Siriski 0 Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 As I see it, when logged in on browser, let's say as Person A, and on emby app on my android as Person A, I can sync to my phone no problem. But if Person B logs in with their phone, Person A, from browser, can sync to their phone too... Neither Person A nor Person B are admins, just regular users.
Aleksa Siriski 0 Posted November 12, 2017 Author Posted November 12, 2017 Why should this be possible? I don't think you got the right message. THIS IS POSSIBLE, CURRENTLY ON MY SETUP. I DON'T want this to be possible, it's a security flaw and needs to be fixed! I may add, using the latest stable version of emby server and emby apps.
rechner123 12 Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 Sorry i missunderstood that. Thats why i asked, because i see no reason why this should be possible.
Luke 42077 Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 You can sync to all devices that your Emby user has access to, just like you can remote control devices your Emby user has access to, and just like you can login to any device your Emby user has access to. To change this, you can adjust device access for an Emby user in their user permissions. This will then restrict that user entirely from all functions on that device. To learn more about this, please check out our wiki: https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Device%20Access Please let us know if this helps. Thanks !
