Live tv page default

Hello i love emby but every time we launch the app on Android we have to select live tv under library to get the the outstanding layout you guys have created. Is there a way to default to the live tv section?

As you may be aware, the web dashboard has this page where you can re-order things on your home page. No idea if it actually gets applied to other apps (like Android) cause I've never fiddled with it, but might be worth a go ?

Unfortunately not. When you start the android tv app you have a plain menu then you have to arrow right and select live tv folder icon then the nice interface shows.

Pity. Maybe ebr could be persuaded...(feature request maybe, unless someone who knows what they're talking about tells you how to do it of course)

I guess you are only using Emby for Live TV?  Otherwise, the home screen could not be described as a "plain menu" .

 

In the settings for the app, there is a check box called "Live TV Mode".  If you turn that on, the app will automatically tune to the last channel you played when started and, when backing out, take you to the guide.
