Scrapbookee 1 Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 (edited) Not sure if this is a settings issue somewhere, or a bit of a silly question/issue, but my primary TV images are pulling seemingly random images, rather than using the posters for the shows. Image below shows how the Movies image uses movie posters, but the TV image has one poster and it looks like three images from Doctor Who maybe? None of these images are attached to the show Doctor Who, or any other show that I can find. I have deleted the Primary TV image multiple times, but each time it pulls maybe one or two posters and then a couple random pictures for the other images. Below are a few examples of this, in case I am not explaining it properly. Again, the images are that being generated contain 1-2 posters that are in my server, and then the other images are not in my server. I love the way my Movies Primary image changes periodically, using the movie posters. It keeps things fresh and I would love to get it to work properly on my TV Primary image. Luke 42089 Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 what content type did you configure the TV library with? 1
Scrapbookee 1 Posted November 11, 2017 Author Posted November 11, 2017 I originally set it up over a year ago, and I believe it's set to TV. I think the second line is the content type, but I could be wrong. Sadly there is no way to change it without removing everything and rebuilding it, which I'd like to avoid due to the time it would take to rebuild.
Luke 42089 Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 It is probably related to old library entries hanging around in the database. That is something we need to improve and will be doing that in a future update. In the meantime, if it does auto-refresh and you find that you like the results, you can always grab the image and configure it using the image editor. When you specify your own image it will never be replaced by an auto-generated one.
Scrapbookee 1 Posted November 11, 2017 Author Posted November 11, 2017 Yeah, I've debated just making an image myself, or saving one when it works out properly. Just confused me because Movies worked fine whereas TV didn't, so I thought maybe there was a setting somewhere. Thanks for the fast response and all of your amazing work on Emby
