Mein Kampf: how to handle removable usb disks.

first of all;

let me explain my home set up.

i have win 7 emby server with 15 media [music-movie-tvshow,etc] disks, sizes changing from 512gb to 3 tb.

a collection i achieved in a decade.

 

i had 4 servers at home , but i have decided to simplify the emby set up since i need 3 of the servers for other purposes.

also living room started to sound like a data center..

i had removed all the disks. except the ones related to music.

i placed a usb disk drive with four slots.

"if anybody is going to watch a movie" i have ordered.

"put the bloody related disk in one of the slots"

 

but my struggle, started at that point..

simply. it did not work..

the movie posters are not showing.

embty [not a  misspell-even english not mums lang. i am turkish anyway..] web page with some movie or tvshow names..

no details.

 

1-of course i have tried  disable [save artwork and metadata into media folders]

disable [enable real time monitoring]

 

2- i have tried everything for a total of 5 days..

cleaning .nfo files.etc.

3-pls, do not tell me emby cache will remeber. it d oes n o t !

4- but kodi does. since it is REALLY writing all the info to database..OFFLINE

believe me; i am not trying to push my luck with being a fighter for  kodi.

i have accepted before that  your library scrape, swift response, innovation   are far more better..

 

do you have a better answer/response than
